Name

Foreign Employment Rescue workers union Nepal

Objectives

  • To rescue and protect Nepali citizens in distress abroad.
  • To advocate for the rights and interests of affected citizens.
  • To increase awareness at national and international levels.
  • To provide legal aid to laborers and oppressed citizens.
  • To promote social harmony, service, commitment, and protection of human rights.

Membership

  • Any Nepali citizen can obtain general membership.
  • The applicant must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Membership must be renewed annually.

Organizational Structure

  • Central Committee
  • Provincial Committee
  • District Committee
  • Municipal Committee
  • Ward-level Committee

Duties of Members

  • To follow the rules of the organization.
  • To actively participate in its programs.
  • To pay the annual renewal fee.

Meetings and Functioning

  • Meetings must be held at least twice a year.
  • Decisions are made by majority vote.
  • In absence of the chairperson, the vice-chairperson will preside over the meeting.

Income and Expenditure

  • Membership fees, donations, project grants.
  • All expenditures must be transparent.

Dissolution

  • The organization can be dissolved by two-thirds majority.
  • Assets will be used for social causes post-dissolution.
